As you are well aware, Bastrop County Texas has experienced quite a setback this year due to the raging forest fires. Several of the 9 volunteer departments are in need of funds to replace or repair equipment that was used in fighting these fires. There are about 220 firefighters serving in these 9 departments, and 13 of them lost their own homes while they were fighting fires in other areas. Some of these departments are now in the position that if they had a serious circumstance in their given area, they
